Trading continues during holiday times

On vacations? Or at home? Enjoying the hot temperatures? My family and I decided to not travel for a longer time this year because of the virus and to focus on our tasks at home. But my trading continues during the holiday times. And not too bad!

Market Ideas

ES, daily

ES almost reached the all time high (ATH) – and up like expected. So, the big question is if there are enough buyers for higher prices.

At the moment there are no signals for a reversal to the downside. But after such a long bullish move a pullback is more likely the longer we’ll move upwards.

So, I expect the start of a pullback down to at least 3200 (about -5%) within the next 2 weeks.

There were no changes in my portfolio. But maybe I’ll sell another partial of TGT on Monday.

And my long term experiments were already up above 3% and BAC almost at +10%!

Futures Experiences

Although I traded active just 2 days this week – my bot was running every day but these results aren’t included here in the statistics – I made more than $700! That’s awesome.
But of course, I am curious how my results would be if I were not at home for some weeks and couldn’t watch the charts all day. With just one hour in front of the charts it would be interesting if I also could make such profits:

Last Week:
• Paper account: +$3.88 (1 little trade, 4 days not traded; MES)
• Free approach: +$77.00 (2 green days with 3 winning trades, 3 days not traded; originally traded in ES as +$770)
This Month (August):
• Paper account: +$26.64
• Free approach: +$214.40 (+$2144 in ES)
[all amounts after commissions and fees, live account still pausing]

More than +$2000 reached and we’re still at 50% of August. But you know, real money will follow soon and maybe the results will change.

Now you know that my trading continues during holiday times with again good results. Do you stop trading while you’re away? Do you trade mobile in these times?

Healthy and happy week for you!

Alexander

Alexander bought his first stock in October 2009 without knowing about the luck for this point of time. In 2016 he started to trade, since 2017 he notes down watchlists and statistics every day and because he knows how to code since he was a child, he uses Python, PHP, HTML5 and JS for making the daily to-dos easier. Because many of his friends wanted him not to stop writing about the markets he started this blog to share his ideas and tools.
